Professor Giuseppe Kito Fusai is a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon with over two decades of clinical experience in his field of expertise. He is a Consultant in the Liver Units at the Royal Free Hospital and at The Wellington Hospital and is a Professor of Surgery at University College London.
He qualified in medicine at the University of Milan, Italy in 1987 and completed his Master of Surgery degree at the University of Parma in 1992. He later moved to the UK and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1996.
He has specialised in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplant since 1999 and has worked in several highly acclaimed centres of King's College Hospital, London and Nagoya University Hospital, Japan.
Professor Fusai's practice focuses on the management and treatment of pancreatic cancer, liver metastases and cholangiocarcinoma as well as the use of vascular reconstruction to treat patients with advanced disease.
He is highly trained in all other aspects of hepato-pancreato-biliary, general and laparoscopic surgery including the treatment and management of benign conditions, such as gallstones and pancreatitis.

He is also the President of the Italian Medical Society of Great Britain (IMSoGB) and Founded Fiorina in 2010, a charitable fund that supports a number of clinical and research projects working towards the treatments for pancreatic cancer.
