I would definitely recommend Greg Rudol he is an excellent surgeon, he has made my everyday life pain free. Before my operation I was in a lot of pain with a cyst pressing on my sciatic nerve. I had a few consultations with Mr Rudol prior to the operation and he went into great detail about the procedure and described how he would remove the cyst and remove some bone from my spine (laminectomy). It is now 7 weeks since my operation and I am now back driving, going to Pilates and back to dancing. If I wouldn’t have had the surgery, I would have still been in a lot of pain and my lifestyle would have been sedentary. Thank you Mr Rudol

Mr Rudol was very attentive from the first consultation and helped alleviate some of my fears about my lower back injury. He gave me honest and fair suggestions with my best interests at heart but never forced me into making a decision I wasn't completely comfortable with. By the time it came to having the procedure done, I was fully confident that what we were going through was the best course of action. Mr Rudol was friendly and made me at ease. The procedure was completed quickly without complication. In terms of the effects of the injection, my pain has subsided considerably and I have been able to live as normal a life as I did before which I am delighted with. It has confirmed to me that the advice of Mr Rudol was correct and our decision we made together was justified. In the follow up, Mr Rudol was visibly delighted that I had reacted to the injection well and gave me some honest recommendations with how to go forward. Overall, I couldn't recommend Mr Rudol enough. If you are suffering from back pain and are avoiding consultation through fear please don't. Go and see Mr Rudol and I promise you will feel better and get the advise and treatment you need

From the start Mr Rudols whole way of working was totally different to what I have been used to in the past. I found I was treat like a person not just a number and he was interested in what I needed. He went into great detail the procedure he had planned for me and also informed me about the risks too. He performed a micro discectomy on my lower back and I was up on my feet completely pain free within hours of surgery.

Mr Rudol gave me my life back. At the age of 48 I couldn't stand or walk for longer than 5 minutes. After various scans I was told that I needed a cage fitting in my spine. It's a scary thought but I'd nothing to lose, (I'm a carer for both my parents). I had the surgery last July and I haven't looked back. I spent 2 night in hospital but was walking 2 miles by the following week. I've been discharged now and I'll be forever grateful to Mr Rudol for performing the surgery. I would add that, if a Surgeon tells you that you need surgery, you do! Spinal surgery isn't a procedure done lightly. Thank you so very much my life saver!

I felt completely at ease with Mr Rudol. He explained my surgery in layman's terms and outlined all the benefits and of course the risk of complications as every surgeon should. He was professional, courteous and answered all my questions. The morning after the surgery he came on to the ward to see how I was feeling and checked the wound site. At the follow up appointment he again answered all my questions and was completely happy with my recovery. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Rudol as a neuro surgeon to anyone considering surgery.

Mr Rudol is a lovely man and made me feel at ease as soon as I met him. He found the cause of my pain through MRI scans and has done diagnostic treatment instead of painful surgery. I walked into his surgery initially with sciatic pain in both legs. I currently have no pain. Mr rudol made it very clear that this may not last and has given me his details to contact him immiediately if the pain comes back. I would trust him implicity if further procedure is required.

I visited Mr Rudol for a consultation concerning seven months of severe coccyx pain, which started after a long car journey. He was extremely attentive, kind and compassionate, listening carefully to all my concerns. He described thoroughly several procedures that he could offer to hopefully help alleviate the pain, and any risks involved with such surgery. After an examination he was able to tell me that he thought the pain was not actually the coccyx and no surgery was required. He recommended I go to a pain management clinic and then have physiotherapy.
