Mr Zambarakji was the consultant who performed the Vitrectomy on my mother last November. From my mother’s first appointment to discuss what the operation would entail to being discharge this week he has been so professional and understanding of the fact my mothers English is not perfect, he explained it in a way she would understand. Even after the operation he came out to explain to me how everything had gone and what realistically to expect as he knew how concerned I was, which really put my mind at rest. my mothers sight has steadily improved over the last few months. Even on her last appointment even though we were seen by another dr, he still took the time to come in and reassure my mother again. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and the time he made to make this whole experience as stress free as possible. Thank you Mr Zambarakji.

At the beginning of my cataracts, I was told by the opticians that it was mild and that I could still do my daily tasks for years to come, but within two years my eye sight deteriorated very badly. I could hardly see anything clearly outside two meters. My eyesight was very foggy and cloudy. Reading everyday letters was almost impossible. Anything on white background was practically invisible. My brother before me had cataracts also. He was recommended Mr. Hadi Zambarakji by my dentist. We were told that he was a brilliant surgeon and very professional. We met Mr Zambarakji, he was very pleasant to talk to to and made you feel at ease. My brother was very happy with him so he proceeded with the cataract operation for both his eyes which turned out a success. So when my cataracts started to effect my daily routine I decided to give Mr Zambarakji a visit. Again he was soft spoken and made you feel very at ease. He carefully explained the procedure to me to make sure I understand what the surgery entails. After doing a few tests my surgery was ready. I was advised to have a local anaesthetic done. So I was basically awake while Mr Zambarakji operated on my eyes. During the operation I noticed how Mr Zambarakji took complete control of the the theatre operations room. I very quickly felt confident that I had the right man to do job. It was painless and frankly quite an extraordinary experience. After about twenty five minutes the operation was done. I could see clearly almost instantly and proceeded to do the other eye two weeks later. After the second operation my life was transformed. I could read everything with crystal clear clarity. It was an amazing feeling. The operation was a complete success with no complications for both eyes. One of my hobbies is an on-line billiard game that I play. Players from all around the world participate in tournaments that are of a very high standard. After My operation I competed in an official on-line 10 ball world championship. I got the final, I almost won it. No way would this had been possible without the surgery that Mr Zambarakji had done on me. It honestly changed my life. Now I am playing in another world championship and I will hopefully go a step further and win it.
What a story about the online billiard word championship! Thank you so much for the detailed review and your supportive comments. It is a pleasure to know that we have made a substantial difference to your quality of life.
