I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in complex reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery.

I am a Oxford graduate and completed my early surgical training in the Oxford region. I undertook higher specialist training in trauma and orthopaedics in the West Midlands deanery, gaining expert training in trauma and elective surgery in University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

I was selected for and successfully completed three very prestigious and internationally well recognised fellowships in Exeter and in Bristol. Over these 18 months, I gained specialist advanced training, making me an expert in arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder, elbow and wrist.

I have published extensively in peer reviewed journals and is thus the research lead for the department. I have a master's degree in evidence-based orthopaedic surgery from the University of Warwick and have an interest in the development of artificial intelligence-driven machine vision systems to aid in the treatment of patients with shoulder and elbow disorders. I use my in-depth knowledge of research to deliver the most up-to-date and safe treatments for my patients.
