Mr Wazait is a Senior Consultant Urological Surgeon and Clinical Lead for The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is a highly experienced consultant and an expert in Green Light LASER Vaporisation of the Prostate.
He is a sub-specialist in surgical and medical management of stones and LASER of the prostate. He has wide experience in urological cancer diagnosis and management including prostate and bladder cancer. He leads weekly cancer MDT meetings. He also has extensive expertise in the management of interstitial cystitis, urinary tract infections and general urology. Mr. Wazait also sees pediatric patients, though his primary focus lies in the intricate aspects of adult urology. Mr Wazait performs minimally invasive stone surgery and LASER Prostatectomy as day surgery or overnight stay
His specialist training was completed in the North London Hospitals network and he spent his period of clinical research at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Whittington Hospital. His final year of training was in the world-renowned Stone Unit at St. Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals. The Unit was awarded as a Fellowship centre and centre of Excellence by the European Board of Urology.
He has been a consultant since 2011 and in the full-time direct clinical care of patients, without other distractions. He moved to London in 2017 having previously worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Addenbrooke and Hinchingbrooke hospitals in Cambridgeshire and Lister Hospital in Stevenage. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally and internationally on different urological topics. He has also taught in various national courses and trained many urologists in training. Currently, he lectures at Brunel University London.
He has been awarded the title of Faculty Tutor, at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology in London and was also included in the editions of "Who's Who" in medicine and Healthcare (USA).

The procedure I had with doctor Hassan was very smooth and quick. He always make sure that I was comfortable with the procedure and also make sure after care .

I saw Mr Wazait as my regular consultant was on holiday. The news he had to give me was not great but that was not his fault and he was exceptionally kind, and helpful to me.
