I received excellent surgery and care from Mr Currie. From the first consultation I found him to be thoroughly professional, friendly, relaxed and very easy to communicate with. He was patient and answered my many questions very clearly. He was very honest about the potential risks and possible downsides of the procedure (vaginal hysterectomy) but I am happy to report that, thanks to excellent surgery, there have been none. The whole experience was so much easier than I anticipated and it has made a huge difference to my life. Many thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you, the anaesthetist (apologies, don't have his name), and the nurses on the ward for the care given to me during my procedure. I was impressed with the expertise and efficiency during quite a personal and daunting experience. The 'care' began at your offices in London. I found you assistant very considerate, putting me at ease, and this continued throughout my treatment, not forgetting you expert handling. My scar is admired for its neatness and inconspicuousness.

It is now six months since you operated on me and I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful job you did! I am so grateful for your skill and expertise which has drastically improved my quality of life. No more pads and skinning the cat, almost back to normal. Thank You!

I thought i would write, as I am not sure if you ever get a thank you from patients operatively. I have just passed the first anniversary since my hysterectomy at the Chiltern Hospital on July 2014. I cannot believe the difference having this operation has made to my life. I now exercise with no pain, I am no longer exhausted after a day's work and do not have to spend days on the sofa with the painkillers and a hot water bottle. My husband stated it is like being married to a different woman. I have not had any bad menopausal symptoms and despite putting on some weight i have now started to lose it with regular exercise. So thank you very much for putting up with me over the years and giving me the confidence in the decision to have this operation. I have not looked back since leaving the hospital and i am looking forward to celebrating my 50th birthday as a happy, healthy person.

I would like to thank you for your excellent care and wonderful surgical skills. Hope you don't mind me saying you are the best thing to come out of "pool since the beetles!" I no longer have to do an Olympic sprint when I want to go for a wee!!
