Mr Ijaz Ahmad is a highly experienced and qualified ENT Surgeon who has been a full-time consultant since 2006. With years of experience, Mr Ahmad specialises in dealing with most general ear, nose and throat problems in both adults and children. He has a special interest in the management of neck lumps, including benign and malignant lymph nodes, thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands. He offers a surgical opinion in both benign and malignant disorders of the thyroid gland, and closely works with endocrine physicians to deal with these cases as a team.

Mr Ahmad's NHS practice is based at Heartlands, Good Hope, Solihull and Queen Elizabeth hospitals, while he is also based at Spire Little Aston Hospital, Spire Parkway Hospital and The Droitwich Spa Hospital in a private capacity. He works in a multidisciplinary team of specialists dealing with cases of head and neck cancer. He has also developed special techniques to manage patients with a feeling of a lump in the throat (globus), and offers specialist services in complex cases of swallowing disorders.
