Mr James Bidwell is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Aberdeen. Mr Bidwell specialises in knee and hip replacements, sports injuries and soft tissue knee reconstruction.
Mr Bidwell completed his medical studies in 1989 from University of London and following that he trained in orthopaedic surgery in London and Glasgow. He also completed a fellowship in Edinburgh and in 2000 he undertook a travelling fellowship in North America.
Since 2001, James has been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Aberdeen, at Grampian Orthopaedic Trauma Unit, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Grampian Elective Orthopaedic Centre at the Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. His specialist interests cover knee and hip replacement surgery, sports injuries and soft tissue knee reconstruction.
James is also a Honorary Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedics at the University of Aberdeen and a Founder Member of Aberdeen Orthopaedic Network LLP.
