Mr James Hopkinson-Woolley is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. Mr Hopkinson-Woolley completed his undergraduate training at St. Thomas''s Hospital and went on to complete general surgical training in Oxford and London and Orthopaedic training in East Anglia. His first Consultant post was at Heath Road Hospital in Ipswich in 2000. Mr Hopkinson-Woolley also completed a post-graduate MSc and research related to wound healing, scaphoid fractures, and surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. Mr Hopkinson-Woolley has a keen interest in research, and he reviews scientific articles submitted to the Journal of Hand Surgery. Mr Hopkinson-Woolley provides surgical and non-surgical treatment as well as medicolegal advice.
