Mr James Lewis is an orthopaedic surgeon London and a specialist in hip and knee replacements and knee arthroscopy. He was educated at Guys Hospital Medical School and University of London (1991). He received Orthopaedic education at Norwich Great Ormond Street, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and the Royal London Hospitals. This was followed by subspeciality training with Fellowships at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, Sydney, Brisbane, and at the Women and Brigham’s in the United States.
Mr Lewis is proud to perform the highest quality of orthopaedic surgery. He does this using the latest technology in the field and by aiming for minimal invasiveness. His operations are incredibly successful with a very low infection rate.
Mr Lewis is also credited with developing a professionally renowned hip and knee replacement improved recovery programme, with his patients now being in the top 2% in recovery time. He also teaches at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and is a national trainer for partial knee resurfacing.
Mr Lewis recently visited the United States and Germany for further training, becoming even more of an expert in his field.
