Suffering with a long term medical condition is a difficult experience. Mr Kalsi has been supportive and understanding, his care is exemplary and his confidence and manner immediately sets you at ease. Throughout my care he was informative, considerate and above all an excellent medical practitioner. After 18 months of suffering Mr Kalsi has returned my quality of life and allowed me to enjoy life symptom free. I will forever be in his debt and my family and I will be eternally grateful for the kind, supportive care he has provided.

I was referred to Mr Kalsi because I was experiencing severe bladder dysfunction. He was very thorough in investigating the problem and I had a number of scans and a cystoscopy examination before confirming that the problem was caused by a massively enlarged prostate. Mr Kalsi recommended prostate reduction using a HoLEP procedure. The surgery went well and the symptons are now greatly improved. Throughout my treatment, Mr Kalsi was very attentive, approachable and empathic. His knowledge is reassuring and I had every confidence in his advice. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kalsi and the HoLEP procedure

Dear Mr Kalsi, It was a pleasure seeing you yesterday and thank you for all the arrangements. I have developed PD about eight months ago. After checking a few options, I decided to travel all the way from my home country, Jordan, for an appointment with Mr Kalsi. After diagnosing my case he recommended injections with Collagenase, where I had my first injection about a month ago. In the two weeks after the injection, there was a mild improvement. However, in the third and fourth weeks, there was a noticeable improvement of at least 10 degrees. I just had my second injection and looking forward to completing the treatments. Thank you. Best regards.

I am wanting to tell you of a special consultant based in the spire Thames Valley Hospital. I have now known this gentleman to 20 months and he has never been anything other than a consummate professional with a clear emphatic approach to his treatment of me. Mr Kalsi first saw me in May 2018 as I was experiencing blood in my urine. I had been referred by Dr Brian McGirr of Doctor now. After some thorough investigation it was determied that I had cancer in the bladder. This was devasting news and my wife and I required guidance and support to decide the way ahead. Mr Kalsi explained the position thoroughly and outlined the various courses of action open to me. A number of surgical procedures followed in short order and the growth was removed. Options for continuing surveillance were discussed agreed and a plan put in place which is now being followed. From the start of my treatment, it was apparent to Mr Kalsi that I also had a very distended prostate which again was a worry in view of the bladder cancer. Mr Kalsi explained the required treatment and put my mind at rest before and after the procedure to reduce the prostate. My wife has literally been beside me at all points in the treatment of both conditions. She has been and continues to be an inspiration and support to me. Mr Kalso had always included my wife in all discussions and he has answered her questions and addressed her worries. Of course one expects great knowledge, skills and experience from medical and surgical consultants. It's also a given that they are empathetic with patients. In my humble opinion, Mr Jas Kalsi excels in all aspects of his profession. A consummate professional and a charming man. I and my wife are truly grateful to him. Thank you

Dear Mr Kalsi, This is to say a big thank you for all your care and attention. All is well and hopefully, I will have some good news to give you in a few months time. Yours sincerly . Thank you

I would like to thank you and your team for making my procedure smooth and comfortable as possible. I would like to thank you personally for going the extra mile and arranging for a new laser at the Princess Margaret Hosptial, so that my procedure could go ahead. As you are aware, this was my first procedure under a general anaesthetic and with the first date for my procedure already cancelled, you removed any stress or anxiety I had by making the second date of August the 17th happen. Thank you Mr Kalsi.

Hello. I am writing to congratulate Mr J. Kalsi for his professionalism and care during my urology operation at Parkside. He did a very good job to prove that he knew what he was doing. I am very happy about what he did. Keep it up and many thanks

Four months ago Mr Kalsi carried out a size reduction operation on my very enlarged prostate using the Holmium laser machine. I am delighted with the result, previously my prostate had become uncomfortable. I am particularly pleased that I am left with no problems of erection or of leakage of urine.Had I realised how effective the operation would be ,and that there would be a lack of problem after-effects, I would have had it done much sooner. Mr Kalsi is a really excellent surgeon and I thoroughly recommend him. He is also extremely pleasant, caring and helpful and is always available to answer queries. I would however advise anyone having this operation to take Mr Kalsi's advice and avoid any vigorous exercise for some time after the operation, I suggest two months. Otherwise there is a danger of re bleeding which did happen in my case following in one case an over exuberant rush up the stairs and another when I went down with a hacking cough for several days.

I have to write my review because I was so impressed with my care and treatment in the very capable hands of Mr Kalsi. From diagnosis to discharge my treatment was seeing to none. Everything was explained to me before the operator and I never experienced any pain or discomfort as I said to Mr Kalsi at my follow up appointment what would we do without people like you. I am extremely grateful to Mr Kalsi Fro.m myself and my family. Thank you so much

From the first consultation to the last Mr Kalsi's care and empathy has been second to none. All questions I wanted to ask were responded to and explained fully at length to give me peace of mind of what was happening with my surgery, which was performed with extreme care.

Mr Jas Kalsi

Thank you for your kind words

I found out that my PSA was 6 and the scan is showing an enlarged prostate, I was rather worried to say the least, especially my father died of prostate cancer. After my GP refered me to an Urology specialist, I was quite apprehensive about the operation as there are a few possible side effects like having a catheter for a period of time after the opeation, bleeding up to about a week and leaking may last for 6 weeks or so. After the opeartion, I was dischraged after 24 hours WITH NO CATHETER, bleeding stopped on the third day as well as the leaking. What a wonderful relief. I like to thank you for such a wonderful result due to your expertise and I have no hesitation to recommend to any one who may have the same problem as I did. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT

Mr Jas Kalsi

Dear Sir, Thank you for kind words. You had a HoLEP (laser prostate surgery) which is the gold standard treatment for an enlarged prostate with urinary symptoms. I am delighted that all has gone well and thanks for the recommendation.
