Mr Paniker gained his primary medical qualifications at Manipal University India, 2000, after which he undertook his post graduate training in Orthopaedics also in India before coming to UK to further his Orthopaedic training in Birmingham, Manchester and Wales and eventually his Specialist Orthopaedic Training from Liverpool.
Since being appointed Consultant, Mr Paniker has become clinical lead for Orthopaedics and clinical lead for research in his NHS trust. He is also actively engaged in educating the next generation of doctors, by mentoring junior doctors and masters students. He is part of the council of the BSSH(British Soceity for Surgery of the Hand)and an examiner for the Hand Diploma and teaches on many national courses.

MR Paniker is Excellent doctor the operation he’s has done on my arms and hands have been success speaks really nice to you answer any questions you have and nothing is problem I have been really happy with MR Paniker and hospital .

Mr Paniker has been excellent throughout. He explained very clearly what my operation for carpal tunnel release and trapizectomy would entail. At my follow up appointment after my operation he gave me good advice and reassurance. He has such a kind caring manner . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

He was an amazing doctor he told me what was going on with my hand and told me how he was going to sort it out he told me he was injecting my finger and iv had this done before so wasn’t looking forward to it but he was absolutely amazing I never felt the needle going in and I’m so pleased to say it has worked and I cannot praise the whole experience enough from booking in to the reception to the actual procedure it was first class

Absolute gentleman, explained everything precisely, carried out the surgery extremely professionally and the aftercare has been second to none.

Really great experience. My problem has been cured and the scar is barely noticeable, if at all. Mr Paniker is also very personable, as well as being a great doctor and I would highly recommend him.

I have had both left and right carpal tunnel release performed by Mr Paniker at Claremont Hospital, a year apart. I had an excellent experience and result on both occasions and could not recommend this surgeon more highly.
