Mr Jean-Pierre Jeannon is a highly skilled Consultant Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon based at London Bridge Hospital. He has extensive experience in general head and neck surgery, including head and neck cancer, voice disorders, and thyroid issues. He is also an expert in performing Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) for the treatment of throat cancer.
In addition to his private practice, Mr Jeannon holds an NHS Post at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he was the Clinical Director of Surgical Oncology from 2018 to 2021. He has specialized in the surgery for advanced orbital malignancy in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital for the past 10 years.
After completing his medical degree at the University of Birmingham, Mr Jeannon underwent basic surgical training in the West Midlands and specialist training in Newcastle. He then completed a Fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada before returning to the UK to take up a Consultant position at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital.
Mr Jeannon is actively involved in research and has published extensively in his field. He is the principal investigator in several clinical research trials focused on immunotherapy and translational research for head and neck cancer treatment, and is a regular presenter on these subjects at international conferences. He is also committed to medical education and holds positions as a Member of the Court of Examiners for the Royal College of Surgeons and an Associate Professor of Head & Neck Surgery at Kings College London.

I was quite anxious about a growing nodule in my thyroid. Through HCA Health Care, I connected with Mr. Jean-Pierre Jeannon. The administrative staff at HCA Health Care was prompt and supportive in arranging an appointment with him. During our initial meeting, Mr. Jean-Pierre Jeannon instilled a sense of confidence in me. He efficiently organized another appointment while collecting my medical records. In the subsequent consultation, he reassured both my wife and me that there was no reason for undue concern. Nevertheless, he suggested an MRI scan as a precautionary measure to alleviate any worries. Mr. Jean-Pierre Jeannon communicated directly and explained everything in simple terms, ensuring our understanding. We felt secure in the hands of someone genuinely caring. I wholeheartedly endorse Mr. Jean-Pierre Jeannon and the HCA Health Care Center.

Did not diagnose my issue, ran some tests and HE concluded everything was fine, while confirming the physical symptoms were still there. I will not have to seek another consultant to actually address the issue I am having. A complete waste of time and money.

Mr Jeannon is courteous, professional and extremely competent. I was very very nervous about my surgery and he really re-assured me that I was in good hands and made me feel calmer about the procedure. He provided an exceptional level of patient care, returning telephone calls out of hours and at weekends. My surgery went well and my scar is very neat.
