Mr Jehangir Mahaluxmivala is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in knee and hip surgery.
Mahaluxmivala completed his specialist Orthopaedic training in London at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He spent his final years specialising exclusively in the hip, knee and lower limb procedures. Mahaluxmivala has also done some visiting fellowships, including time in the knee and hip replacement centres in North America.
He primarily works with patients from Essex, Hertfordshire and London. He performs knee replacement surgery including complex revisions, hip replacement surgery in all age groups and arthroscopic knee surgery too.

Came to Mr Mahaluxmivala for a second opinion. Sought all my information in a very kind and approachable manner. Examination was thorough. Once all this and x rays reviewed he gave me an honest opinion in a manner that was easy to understand. I had many questions and he made time and made me feel like an individual rather than just another patient. Thank you.

He is professional, friendly, gives detailed explanations and is unhurried in his approach ensuring that I understood the prognosis, any actions and that I had an on going plan for my knee condition. This is my third appointment to see Mr Mahaluxmivala and I always leave with confidence of the diagnosis and course of action.

Life changing after total knee replacement. Walking 3-4km without pain. Full bend in the knee and I’m able to kneel in my work.

I have 3 joint replacement done , all by Mr Mahaluxmivala. Excellent recovery and no problems with any of the operations. The first total knee replacement is now coming up to 17 years.
