Mr John Almeyda is a Consultant Rhinologist and ENT Surgeon working at his private practice on Harley Street in London. His speciality within ENT surgery includes the management of nasal disorders such as sinusitis, nasal polyps, septorhinoplasty and obstruction within the nasal passage.
Mr Almeyda qualified in Medicine from St Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1990. He also completed fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1994 and 2001. Mr Almeyda has previously worked as a Consultant at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust and is also a Visiting Consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
He can perform ENT surgery to treat general ENT disorders, including Tonsillectomy, Rhinoplasty and nasal polyps, as well as sore throat problems, hearing problems, snoring, sleep apnoea and paediatric ENT.
Apart from his clinical work he has several professional memberships with the British Association of Otolaryngologists, the British Medical Association, the British Rhinological Society and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is also the co-author of the book The Colour Atlas of ENT Diagnosis and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.
