He was appointed to the post of Consultant Urologist in Swindon in 1992 – founding the Department of Urology at the BMI The Ridgeway Hospital and the Great Western Hospital. The department has developed and expanded to offer a comprehensive Urological service treating a complete spectrum of patients.

Very happy with the prostate procedure. Mr Iacovu’s surgery exceeded all my expectations. The process was fully and clearly explained throughout, with appropriate expectations given professionally and sensitively. My only minor criticism is that at times Mr Iacovu seemed very busy, giving the impression that he was unable to spend much time with each patient.
