Have had bunions removed on both feet, and delighted with outcome. Mr Pavier explained the operation fully, and the nursing care I have received has been excellent. Now back to wearing normal shoes again with no discomfort. Thank you very much.

I have had pain in my right toe for around 4 years and finally booked into see my GP. I was then referred to Julian and he suggested having a steroid injection to start with to see how that goes. I ended up having two steroid injections over the period of 14 months. After this I had decided I wanted to have the toe fusion. Julian and I discussed this in length and both felt it was the right way forward. I had the operation and was well looked after by Julian and his team. Recovery is coming on well after 6 weeks and am walking again in trainers. I couldn’t recommend Julian and his team any higher. Top professional in his field.

I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent treatment I have had under your care. I had heard about your skill and reputation in the field of Podiatric surgery from my brother who previously had bunions corrected on both feet with very impressive results. When I needed to have my feet corrected, I enquired as to whether I could travel to see you at Newark Hospital and fortunately I was able to. I had one foot operated on in June 2017 and the other in March 2018, both with fantastic results. I have consistently found the outpatient's clinics are run efficiently by very pleasant and helpful staff including nursing, administrative and secretarial. You and your team have always given me thorough explanations and choices. The theatre staff instil confidence with a relaxed and professional approach and the post-operative care on the ward is excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending you and your department, please pass on my thanks to all members of your team and staff involved.
