Mr Julian Charles Pavier is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon currently working at the private practise BMI Healthcare and his current NHS post is at Newark Hospital, in Newark-on-Trent. His area of specialism is Orthopaedic surgery and Podiatric Surgery and his areas of interest are Bunion Surgery, Foot surgery for toe problems and Hallux Valgus surgery.
Mr Pavier qualified in 1987. He completed his surgical fellowship in Solihull, he has a FCPodS from the College of Podiatry in 2000. He also undertook an Independent Prescribing course at Huddersfield University in 2018. He has also undertaken further training in the USA and Europe.
He is also interested in research, with interest in PRP injections for Plantar fasciitis. He also takes an active role in teaching and is a visiting lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University. He has been Dean of the Northern Deanery of the College of Podiatry and Vice Dean of Directorate of Podiatric Surgery.
Mr Pavier has lectured nationally and internationally on Hallux Valgus (bunion) surgery, Hallux Rigidus and Morton's Neuroma surgery
