I recommend Mr Chapple for his manner and expertise. His explanation at the consultation was realistic, the surgery worked as he explained. I am now free of the hernia problem.

First class experience from start to finish. Clear description of my inguinal hernia also my options going forward. Helped with the timing of the repair procedure so as to minimise the impact on prior family commitments. Explained everything clearly before and after the procedure. Thoroughly professional, wouldn’t hesitate to contact Mr Chapple again should the need arise.

I was very pleased with the help and advice given to me by Mr Chapple. I received prompt attention and he was courteous and exceeded my expectations on every occasion that I met him.

He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Very reassuring. Could not fault his attitude. His knowledge of my condition was excellent and his explanations about the procedure were clear. I felt completely reassured with his surgical skills. I would recommend him as my surgeon of choice for this procedure. I had no pain in the weeks after the procedure and did not need to take any of the analgesics given to me by the hospital. I took two paracetamol on the day after the operation and that was all.

I went to Mr. Chapple with a suspected double hernia. He was very thorough with the investigative procedures, wanting to 100& confirm the size & location of both hernias before operating. He explained everything to me every step of the way & made sure I was happy each & every time. His manner was always cool, calm & collected and I found him very professional.

Dr Chapple has an excellent bedside manner from the pre-op consultation onwards. I found him easy to talk to and informative regarding my diagnosis and what I could expect operation-wise. Having read up on haemorrhoidectomy, I expected much more pain than I experienced post-surgery. My experience was more on the scale of discomfort than pain. Heaven forbid I should need such surgery again, but if I did, Dr Chapple would be the one I wanted to carry out.
