I was brought up playing sport from a young age and played professional football until the age of 19.
After a string of hamstring injuries it was medical care that seemed the obvious choice once the career in football had faltered and I found Podiatry.
Having graduated with a BSc in Podiatry in 2006 I began full time employment in the NHS whilst undertaking an MSc in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics and completing in 2009. This then allowed me to expand my private practice.
I have experience treating the full range of Podiatric musculoskeletal conditions from those of the recreational athlete through to the professional.
Utilising best evidence is at the forefront of my clinical practice with the tissue stress model of assessment and treatment guiding my work. Ultimately finding mechanism of injuries whilst utilising the principals of physics and mechanics.
