Klaas completed a four year degree course in Physiotherapy in The Netherlands in 1989. That same year he came to England and worked in various departments within the NHS and private practice.
In 1993 he established the Eastbourne Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic which he successfully ran until the opportunity came along to expand the business creating a multi-disciplined practice. This practice Physio Plus opened in February 2003. He specialises in all musculo-skeletal problems and has special interests in manipulative work and sports injuries. Physiotherapy is a ‘hands on’ manual therapy and one of the best proven approaches to the treatment of joints, muscles, tendons, nerves and ligaments. As well as practising a wide range of manual techniques, Physio Plus' physiotherapists are also are trained in the use of electro-therapy, eg. ultra-sound, laser, interferential and electro-magnetic therapies.
