Maisam Fazel is a Consultant Onco Plastic, Breast Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon with a unique background in both breast and plastic surgery. He studied medicine at Cambridge University before going on to continue his training training at leading teaching hospitals in London, Paris and Milan. Mr Fazel was further selected for the National Onco-Plastic Fellowship at the Nottingham Breast and Reconstruction Unit, where he gained skills in oncoplastic as well as breast reconstruction surgery, forming a large part of his current practice.
Mr Fazel is highly skilled in his field and applies sophisticated reconstructive techniques in both breast conservation surgery and total breast reconstruction. He was awarded the prestigious JCST Royal College of Surgeons Cosmetic Fellowship thus gaining extensive experience in a wide range of cosmetic procedures under leading Plastic Surgeons. Later he undertook an additional cosmetic and reconstructive surgery fellowship in the United States that involved internationally re-known aesthetic surgeons. Mr Fazel is currently involved in research relating to breast reconstruction as well as in cosmetic surgery. He has published widely and is frequently invited to international meetings to present his work. Highly recommend Dr fazel he was very kind & compassionate & found him to be very truthful about surgery, didn’t feel pressured into having anything in particular & put mine & my husband’s mind at ease about not having to rush into surgery, which I had been advised that needed my implants removed as a matter of urgency by another surgeon. He explained all my options & told me it’s my choice what I decide but gave me a few different options to choose from. I didn’t feel rushed in consultation & felt that I was listened to. Will definitely be booking surgery with Dr fazel & would recommend him to anyone.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mr. Fazel has been an incredible support during my breast cancer journey. His caring nature has made the journey so much easier, he takes his time to explain things clearly allowing for any questions regardless how silly! I am incredibly happy with the outcome of both surgeries, the understanding and aftercare that has been displayed throughout has been fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mr. Fazel.

Mr Fazel is calm, measured and oozes confidence which puts one at ease. Mr Fazel is great at listening and spends time explaining procedures and next steps. I never feel rushed and always leave calmer than my arrival!

Having gone to see Mr Fazal for a breast screening appointment it was a horrible shock to learn I had a cancerous lump, this lump was caught early and Mr Fazal operated within weeks in order to shorten the worry time, at all times I completely understood what was happening. I opted for a breast reduction as part of the procedure. I am happy with the surgery and the results, I was in very little pain after the surgery if any. I am very happy with Mr Fazal and would not hesitate to recommend him.

The whole operation - from the first consultation to the final appointment has been great.
