Mr Marco Scarci is a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon, currently working at The Harley Street Clinic in Central London. He graduated medicine in 2001 and is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a Member of the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons. Additionally, he leads the european chest wall database project, the pleural disease and chest wall working groups at the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is also a member of the international society for minimally invasive cardiothoracic surgery, chest wall interest group society, society of thoracic surgeons and european association for cardiothoracic surgery.
He performs a wide variety of procedures, including minimally invasive thoracic surgery, lung surgery and cancer surgery. Mr Scarci believes that patients should be treated with great care and with a plan tailored for each individual case and he strives to deliver care to the highest possible standard.
Mr Scarci publishes research articles regularly and also travels to speak at major national and international meetings about thoracic surgery.
