He is just a fantastic surgeon - super-capable, kind, very understanding of the human condition, and someone who I would totally trust. I have now been operated on by him three times and each was a success. I couldn't rate him highly enough.

The whole process from consultation through pre-op, operation and post op and first physio was just excellent. I felt totally relaxed about the whole process and have total confidence in a good outcome. My only small issues was the slightly confusing guidance with regard to the different pain killers. Although overall I didn't actually suffer that much pain

Mr Curtis explains slowly and clearly with the aid of diagrams. He is efficient but doesn't make you feel like you are wasting his time if you ask questions. I was very concerned that I was having unnecessary surgery and he was able to reassure me that he was very confident in his diagnosis, and why. After the surgery he took the time to explain that he had found - and removed - a bone spur which would definitely have gone on to cause serious damage if I had not had the procedure. The scars left from the arthroscopy are tiny and neat. Three weeks on from the surgery, I am already in less pain and have better range of movement than before the operation.
