Mr Martin Goddard is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in London, UK. He was awarded his primary medical qualification from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London in 1998, where he continued to work as a junior doctor before undertaking his higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery on the South Yorkshire training programme. Mr Goddard specialises in knee procedures and treats patients across the whole spectrum of knee conditions, but he is an expert in the management of acute and chronic sports related knee injuries. He has published multiple research articles in leading international orthopaedic journals, one of which was awarded the ISAKOS Scientific Research Award.
Mr Goddard completed a world-renowned knee surgery fellowship at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, Australia, under the mentorship of the highly esteemed Professor Leo Pinczewski. He completed another fellowship in knee surgery in Harrogate, UK, before eventually undertaking his current NHS post as a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon with St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2014.
Mr Goddard lives locally in Wimbledon, and is a keen skier in his spare time.
