He joined the NHS as a Consultant Surgeon in Swansea in 2012.

Everything was very easy to understand start to finish and I fully understood the pros and cons as a result of Martyn’s explanation

From the initial consultation, through to the operation and the aftercare, Mr Evans was entirely professional and also a very decent bloke.

Mr Evans has great bedside manner and quickly puts you at ease, filling you with confidence in his ability to perform the surgery. This follows on with great post surgery communication with care and consideration for how you progress.

During my time at Sancta Maria with Mr Evans, I was made to feel very welcome and special from the minute I entered to the minute I left. Mr Evans gave me detailed information on the hernia repair and answered all my questions and concerns professionally.

What an excellent Consultant. He came recommended to me and I would recommend him to others. Lovely bedside manner despite you feeling quite vulnerable having that area checked. Made me feel at ease- brilliant communication, warm and friendly - his Secretarial support is super swift, clear and very polite which can’t be said for all private secretaries. Mr Martyn Evans, is a first class surgeon. From my first consultation with him he put me at ease. We discussed the procedure and the possibility of any issues, but the entire time he was talking to me I knew he was confidant in the procedure he was going to preform.
