Mr Michael Booker is a highly qualified Consultant specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with several years of clinical experience. He currently works in his private medical practice BMI Shirley Oaks Hospital, Croydon as the Lead Consultant of the fertility services, and also works at the London Women’s Clinic in Harley Street. His private practice at Shirley Oaks can be characterised into four main areas. This includes Fertility Treatment, Reproductive Surgery, General Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy Care.  

Mr Booker graduated in Medicine in 1978 from the University of Liverpool and then undertook specialist postgraduate medical training. Within the field of gynaecology, he has a specialist interest in Fibroids, Myomectomy surgery, Endometriosis, Fertility IVF, Operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, management of menopause, Tubal Microsurgery and male fertility.

Furthermore, he enjoys training aspiring junior doctors and medical students. He is a Special Skills Trainer with the RCOG in transvaginal ultrasound and has been undertaking research into the treatment of infertility since 1984. Mr Booker also attends many conferences and presents his research.
