Mr Michael Moss is a consultant orthopaedic consultant with over 25 years of experience with extensive expertise in both elective and emergency orthopaedic surgery. He is based at Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital and St Richards Hospital where he specialises in all types of hip and knee surgery in particular joint replacement, arthroscopy, joint preservation surgery, and ligament reconstruction.

During the course of his career, Mr Moss has treated hundreds of patients from all over the world and takes a patient-centric approach to treatment. He believes that "one size does not fit all" and will select tailored implants based on each person's individual anatomical form and activity level.

Mr Moss qualified in 1983 from the University of London and completed surgical training at St George's Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, and Westminster Hospital. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and trained in orthopaedics at a number of renowned centres including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Mr Moss also trained in the USA and Europe under world-leading high and knee surgeons.

He has worked at St Richard's Hospital since 1994 where he spent 7 years as clinical director, pioneering new techniques including minimally invasive surgery, stem cell techniques, and hip resurfacing amongst others.
