Mr El-Deen completed orthopaedic specialist training in Liverpool

followed by appointment as an orthopaedic consultant in 2006.

Subspeciality fellowships completed;

1. Primary hip and revision hip replacement, Liverpool.

2. Primary and revision Knee replacement including robotic surgery,

Glasgow.

3. Hand surgery, Liverpool.

He currently concentrate on certain orthopaedic subspeciality with high

volume surgery in the field.

Mr El-Deen keeps his knowledge and skills up to date by regularly

attending the relevant courses, national and international conferences.

Mr El-Deen also has interest in non-medical management activities; he

holds the lead clinician role at his current post which involves employment and

retention of doctors, governance and quality assurance.
