Mr Nabeel Malik is a Consultant Ophthalmologist who works at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Malik practices privately at The Medical Chambers Kensington.
Mr Malik has gained experience in a vast range of specialties in his career. Once he completed his basic surgical training he subsequently received his Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Mr Malik then further specialised for over two years in neuro-ophthalmology and neurology at the world renowned Atkinson Morley Hospital and in Cardiology and Rheumatology at St George's Hospital, London.
Mr Malik manages all emergency and general ophthalmic conditions and specialises in inflammatory eye disease, HIV and diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. Mr Malik makes use of state of the art treatments and therapies. As well as the above listed procedures, Mr Malik also specialises in facial plastic surgery (including tumour and reconstructive surgery, eyelid surgery including aesthetic surgery and lacrimal surgery for watery eyes).
Mr Malik is specialised in Oculoplastic surgery and is also the Ophthalmologist to the world class HIV tertiary referral service based at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and at Dean Street in Soho, London.
Mr Malik is passionate about education and research and has taught extensively for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He has also lead and developed a Ophthalmology Course for GPs which is offered at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. Mr Malik has instructed over 100 GPs in London over the past three years.
Mr Malik teaches on nationally recognised programmes and helps aspiring Consultants to hone their interview skills. He also interviews for appointments to London training Fellowships for the London Deanery.
