Mr Nana Osei is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon currently working at the private practices Spire Harpenden Hospital, BMI The Saxon Clinic, Benslow Lane, Hitchin and Ambrose Lane, Harpenden. His current NHS base is Luton and Dunstable Hospital. His specialism is the spine, his interests include spine surgery, trauma and orthopaedic surgery, deformity, full range of discectomies, micro-surgery and decompressions and nerve pain.

Mr Osei graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1997. In 1999 he graduated from University College London with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He undertook clinical medicine training at The Royal Free Hospital, and has trained at centres of excellence in London, and East Anglia, in the EU, Toronto and the US. He has a Fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Mr Osei is active in research. He has published in many peer-reviewed scientific journals utilising his expertise. His research interests include the spine including injections, fusionless instrumentation in spondylolisthesis and general trauma. He has also managed military casualties whilst at Selly Oak during the Gulf War.
