Mr Neil Kitchen is a Consultant Neurosurgeon specialising in Neuro-oncology. He was first appointed as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in 1995 at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London where he is the Lead Neurosurgeon for Neuro-oncology. Mr Kitchen qualified in medicine at the University of Cambridge in 1986 and trained at Bart's Health, University College London Hospitals and Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. He also holds a BSc degree in the History of Medicine from the Wellcome Institute.
Mr Kitchen has vast experience diagnosing, assessing and treating a range of conditions, including: cavernoma, trigeminal neuralgia and brain and central nervous system cancers. He is skilled in performing a number of procedures such as brain tumour surgery, intracranial microsurgery and gamma knife radiosurgery.
