Mr Nick Strouthidis is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Optegra Eye Hospital, London and Moorfields Eye Hospital, with a special interest in glaucoma and cataract surgery. He graduated from Guy's and St Thomas's to obtain his medical degree and went on to be awarded both an MD and a PhD from UCL. Later, he went on to train at the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and was selected to complete a prestigious Glaucoma Fellowship. Mr Strouthidis also went on to complete a post-doctoral Fellowship at Denver's Eye Institute, USA.

Mr Strouthidis is the Director of Glaucoma Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. He is a funded clinician scientist at the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Opthalmology. He is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences and has had international research appointments in Singapore and Australia. Mr Strouthidis is also involved in training other surgical registrar and is currently the Glaucoma Fellowship Director at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
