Mr Nick Woodcock is a specialist Lower Gastrointestinal (GI) and General Surgeon based at York Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Nuffield Healthcare. His areas of interest include hernia repair, colorectal surgery, intestine failure and gallbladder issues. He qualified from Leeds University in 1994 with a Medical Degree before specialising in his chosen field. He returned to Leeds University and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in 2003. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2005. He remains active in research, particularly the gut barrier and nutritional support and has published numerous peer-reviewed journals.
