Following Mr Ramesh's higher surgical training, he joined the Specialist register for Orthopaedic Surgery in 2005. Only one year later he was awarded the DePuy fellowship and then the International American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society's travelling fellowship, the following year. These fellowships have given Mr Ramesh the opportunity to train with surgeons across North America, including New York, Toronto, Boston and Washington, to name but a few.
Mr Ramesh actively participates in clinical research and academic development, having been invited to present his work both nationally and internationally at numerous Orthopaedic conferences. In addition to these invited lectures and international presentations, he also has publications in peer reviewed journals.
Practicing as part of the team of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons at Kingston Hospital, he also sees patients at Parkside Hospital, New Victoria Hospital, New Maldon Diagnostics and Kingston Private Health . He provides a consultant led foot and ankle service as well as offering second opinions of complex foot and ankle cases. Mr Ramesh strives to provide the best possible patient care, dedicating time to working closely with his colleagues to help reduce patient recovery time and improve surgical outcomes.
