He was very kind and explained well about what will be done and happen.
I am very happy o chose Mr Ramesh and have recommended him to my friends! Who all have bunions..! Parkside was also a good place to have it done. Thank you
the procedure i had was a success. Mr Ramesh was understanding and dealt with my problem professionally and passionately.
From first calling him to getting an appointment it was less than 24 hrs and that made a huge difference to my morale as my ankle was very sore!
I am delighted with the progress of my surgery carried out by Mr Ramesh. Everything seems to be healing very well, and Mr Ramesh made helpful and sensible suggestions to aid with my recovery, such as the use of a scooter to aid mobility. Mr Ramesh is also very personable and makes you feel very at ease.
Absolutely brilliant yet again from Mr Ramesh.
Very helpful and informative visit
Fixed one foot back for the second. Mr Ramesh has been excellent at working to resolve my horrible plantar fasciitis
Mr Ramesh has seen me twice and quickly diagnosed by stress fracture after two physios had thought it was a tendon problem. He was very reassuring and quickly set out a plan to deal with my fracture.
Mr Ramesh was polite, efficient and quick to get to the root of the problem. He answered all my ancillary questions about the condition .
Another excellent consultation with Mr Ramesh. He has a very pleasant manner and provides answers to my questions. The facility is excellent, and the overall experience is also excellent.
Excellent visit with Ramesh. I have struggled with some foot issues for a while and he was patient understanding my issues as well as coming up with possible solutions. Highly recommend
I have felt well advised and cared for by Dr Ramesh before, during and after my bunion surgery. I am also very happy with the result so far.
Very friendly - straightforward and clear and gave complete confidence in his knowledge of my problem
Mr Ramesh was very thorough in investigating my condition. Although he was unable to help me any further he did call me to see how I was which was greatly appreciated and he adviced and reccomended a specialist that was able to help me.
Mr Ramesh made me feel very reassured and confident before and after the surgey. Its now 7 weeks after my operation and making great progress thanks to his excellent work.
Excellent diagnosis . Great execution of the procedure . Great follow-up . He handled a difficult patient brilliantly
Mr Ramesh is first class doctor surgeon have 100 percent faith in him very caring man would reccomend him to anyone needing his skills
My second operation took place on the 27th September having the same results as the first one.
I received the best of service and attention by Mr Ramesh, before, during and after my operation.
The professional, experienced, kind and friendly way I was treated by Mr Ramesh on both my operations, gave me confidence, pain free feet, and helped me to go back to the sport I love, which is walking! I wish to Mr Ramesh a much more successful future to both, professional and personal life
Mr Ramesh is charming and reassuring. I found the treatment I received exemplary.
I am 81 and used to ski, play many sports, three at county level, and nearly made the 1960 Olympics in modern pentathlon. I was regarded as the best place kicker of a rugby ball in schools rugby in the days when the ball was kicked with the front end of the foot rather than the modern method. I was also in the army for several years so my body has been subjected to more than an average amount of wear and tear while avoiding any serious injuries. My weight is still the same as it was when I left school 63 years ago and my annual checks indicate that I am in good working order despite having three crushed vertebrae from a rugby injury and having been given a 2% chance of survival due to a squamous cell carcinoma eight years ago.
What began as a niggling pain on the outside of my right foot two years ago gradually became more painful until it started to hurt all day a few weeks ago. Having been assured that there was nothing wrong by a chiropodist, a physiotherapist and my GP I arranged for my foot to be X-Rayed and was advised to see a Mr Pal Ramesh, with whom I made an appointment a few days hence.
He is a very charming and pleasant gentleman and his attitude and professionalism gives one absolute confidence in him.
He could not find anything wrong structurally with my foot even though it is a size larger than my other one due to Grade 3 lymphoedema in my leg, which I have had for over six years - the aftermath of chemo/electron/radiotherapy. He then drew the outline of my foot onto a sheet of paper, cut out a small section exactly where the pain was, gave me the rest of the sheet, recommended that I should buy a pair of insoles and use the sheet of paper as a template to cut out a piece exactly where he had done.
I followed his advice and the pain disappeared instantly and has not returned. I now have four different makes of insoles, all with different thicknesses, and they all 'work' perfectly.
I wrote to Pal once I was sure that he had cured the problem and could not resist mentioning that in days of yore some service companies, especially garages, used to have a sign on their walls saying 'The impossible we can do immediately, miracles take a little longer.' I was very pleased to tell Pal that he had performed an instant miracle.
My daughter is a private medical consultant and my wife and I have consulted quite a number of top surgeons and physicians over the years so we have a fair amount of experience of what they are like and their different attitudes towards their patients.
Pal Ramesh is the best consultant whom I have ever come across and been treated by. His presence gives one confidence from the outset and he has that rare gift of making one feel that he or she is the only patient that he has in his portfolio.
It is with the greatest pleasure that I give him the highest recommendation possible.
I am lucky that Mr P.Rameh's name came on the list of specialists provided by my insurers. My procedure was Osteotomy for Hallux Valgus correction. Mr Ramesh consolted me before and after the procedure also spend time to give professional answers to my questions. The procedure on my right foot, that was pain free, gave successful results and 5 weeks after I am in position to walk properly and be back almost fully, to my day to day activities. Grateful to Mr Ramesh for his professional guidance and kind support, I look forward to repeating the same procedure on the left foot soon.
I had a bunion removed by Mr Ramesh which was very successful. From the initial consultation to follow up after the operation I felt supported and informed. So far I have had no complications and feel confident that i won't have any in the future. I would highly recommend Mr Ramesh for any foot surgery required
Very professional through the whole process.
I’m very happy with the outcome of my operation.
The experience I have had of Mr Ramesh has been best-in-class from my first consultation to our post-operation follow up conversation. He is friendly, clear and thorough in his explanations. I was clear at each step of the way on the issues with my foot and ankle, what the operation would entail and what the post-operative recovery period would require. Mr Ramesh instilled absolute confidence in me, and represents the best medical care I have experienced.
I saw Mr Ramesh with plantar fasciitis, inflammation of my big toe and restriction in mobility in my ankle. I had been unable to walk properly for 5 months due to pain . Following a steroid injection and 3 sessions of shock wave therapy , my pain has gone completely gone. Yes my leg is still stiff and my mobility needs work, but I am pain free! Mr Ramesh surpassed all my expectations and I would highly recommend him.
Very pleasant, explained the process well and took his time with me.
The NHS walk-in centre had told me all they could do was buddy strap my broken little toe and that three days was too soon to worry about it healing at an angle sticking out away from the other toes. Mr Ramesh took x-rays and established I was correct to be concerned. He then straightened the toe under a local anesthetic and rechecked it. I am very happy how he managed to fit doing the procedure in around his other commitments that morning and with the result.
Everything was explained clearly and Mr Ramesh did a fine job for me
Great bedside manner. Measured and calm. Felt very reassuring by the way he approached the appointment. Made good suggestions to literally get me back on my feet! Thanks.
I have had 2 consultations with Mr Ramesh, I found his approach very professional, and his wealth of experience contributing to excellent diagnosis and treatment. He explained my issues in a language I understood, and also took in to consideration my overall well being. Pal treats me as a friend, rather than just another patient.
Very kind and very accurate didn't waste time with necessary treatment.
Mr Ramesh was exceptionally thorough in his examination and diagnostics to determine the problem with my ankle. WIth the utmost of patience he explained what had happened and happily answered all of my questions. Mr Ramesh is very focussed on the patient experience and I have no hesitation in recommending anyone wanting the very best of care.
After successful operations for removal of bunions and for Morton's neuroma I have utmost trust in Mr P Ramesh who has always been very thorough in explaining medical conditions surgical procedures and post op care. He is professional in an approachable and reassuring manner.
Mr Ramesh did an amazing job with my foot operation. The scar was minimal and recovery better than expected. His recent advice on another issue has also been spot on.
Thank you I feel great, such a relief to be free of pain.
I recently ruptured my Achilles tendon (complete rupture) and needed to see a consultant quickly. After doing some online research I booked an appointment with Mr Ramesh and from there on was very pleased with the initial consultation and subsequent treatment. Mr Ramesh took the time to understand what my desired outcome was and then clearly explained the options to me and the end result was surgery. The procedure went according to plan and the follow up to date has been great, based on my current experience I would recommend Mr Ramesh !
Mr Ramesh was far more knowledgeable than any of the doctors I have seen previously and understood my condition well.
It would have been nice to have seen him immediately after my surgery as I had many questions, instead I had to wait two weeks.
Exceptional treatment and follow-up. Clear and accurate communication throughout. I highly recommend Mr Ramesh to all potential patients.
Ive been suffering with pain in both legs for over twenty years , and have had a host treatments , Physiotherapy , Ostopathy, pain killing injections , with no long term solution,
Mr Ramesh, suggested gait analysis and Orthotics, which after one month , I can honesty say that im walking normally, balanced, with out pain and feel 30 years younger ! , Well Done Mr Ramesh you have giver me a new lease of Life through your judgement and treatment.
I would thoroughly recommend this surgery & Mr Ramesh. In the lead up to having the operation people winced when I told them what I was having, so I was pretty scared. But I can honestly say there was very little pain or discomfort. I was able to hobble around the house from day one and certainly by the end of week one I was able to start working on my laptop. It’s a little frustrating not being completely mobile but I was just relieved not to be in pain.
Mr Ramesh was clinically and surgically excellent and equally good at communicating the procedure and the aftercare I would highly recommend him
Mr Ramesh is a very approachable and caring professional.
Following successful bunionectomies in November 2017 and early March 2018, I have spoken of and recommended him in the highest regard to my GP, family and friends. I would urge anyone who is considering a bunionectomy to go and see him.
Sixteen weeks post op, the precision of Mr Ramesh’s work has resulted in me experiencing very little discomfort, no pain, and barely visible scarring.
I was pleased I chose the New Victoria Hospital for both operations as his team and all of the NVH staff were excellent.
I hope my experience will help others.
I would like to say how pleased I have been throughout the process of having surgery to remove a painful bunion and toe straightening. From the information given prior to the operation to the postoperative consultation, I have been very impressed.
I had previously postponed the procedure due to the time to recover, how this would impact my job and home lift plus feedback that it was very painful.I can only say that from my experience it wasn't painful at all. Dr Ramesh advised that I needed to take two weeks of rest with my foot elevated for most of the time. I followed these instructions and was even able to work with my laptop in the 2nd week of recovery. It certainly was not as disruptive as I originally thought.
My wounds healed very well , a neat scar and the swelling has now reduced so am able to walk further each day and I am back to my normal routine two months after initial surgery.
Thank you again for your considerate approach and looking after me so well. With the added bobus of having a straight foot.
Thank you Dr Ramesh.
