Qualifications
Mr Patel began his medical career in London. He qualified from Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals' Medical and Dental Schools after which he undertook basic and higher surgical training at King's College Hospital, Guy's Hospital and St George's hospital. After finishing his training, he went overseas to Brisbane to work under the guidance of Professor Bill Coman and Assoc/Prof Ben Panizza, performing Head and Neck Skullbase surgery. Mr Patel then returned to the UK for a further skull base and cochlear implant fellowship and locum consultant position in Addenbrookes Hospital Medical School, Cambridge.

Mr Patel demonstrated both excellent clinical/consultation and interpersonal skills. He showed great care towards our daughter and made both her and us very comfortable. He explained the tonsillectomy process in detail beforehand and ensured our daughter was cared for throughout and was open to any questions we had. He also clearly explained the days most likely pain was likely to be experienced and when it could subside.

Parag is an outstanding ENT surgeon and I refer many patients to him. As well as being an excellent surgeon he has a wonderful bedside manner. I experienced this first hand when I took my elderly mother to see him. He was kind, gentle and very reassuring: an amazing doctor.

He has excellent communication skills and his technical surgical skills are second to none.
