Mr Sian was particularly thorough and explained everything in easy digestible terms, arranging to see him was probably the best thing I could have done and my only regret is suffering with pain for as long as I did before deciding to do something about it.

Visited Huddersfield Hospital in Birkby, Huddersfield. Mr Sian & his team were absolutely brilliant. I was really anxious beforehand and Alison, Gemma, Charlotte & Mr Sian totally put my mind at ease. Great team, hoping for a great result but if future injections are required i wont be anxious in the future. Thank you.

Mr Parmjit Sian fixed me!! I was in tremendous pain in my back and down my left leg, I'd lost over a stone in weight, I couldn't sleep, eat or drive my car and my life was a complete misery. Having tried the NHS for several months, I decided I could not go on with the current path of trying the different pain killers that made me feel very strange and didn't relieve my pain. I made an appointment with Mr Sian and on seeing him I immediately thought I'd found the right person. The MRI scan revealed I had a prolapsed disc at L4/L5, we initially tried injections, as surgery is always the last resort, although there's an 80% chance an injection will work, mine did not. Mr Sian carefully talked me through the risks and I decided to opt for the surgery. I'm now 12 weeks after my operation and fully recovered, I can now sleep, eat, walk and drive! Mr Sian is a gentleman and has deep expertise in his field, his calm, kind and assured manner put me an ease and ultimately helped me heal and recover from a terrible experience. Thank you, Mr Sian, you make the world a better place. Graeme Cox

Mr Sian is a truly wonderful surgeon and human being. My experience with him has changed my life. From the first consultation I felt listened to and respected. I am someone who does not take pharmaceutical drugs and prefers the natural approach to good health care. Luckily for me, Mr Sian embraced my wishes and after assessing my xrays and MRI, he began to show me exercises and explain some lifestyle changes that would help my back pain as well as my overall health. (These include diet, movement and posture specific to my needs) My story started 8 years ago after the birth of my second child. I suffered terrible lower back pain, hip pain, sore heels and pain down the front of my left leg. It hurt to stand, walk, sit, bend, to carry shopping, pick up my child etc. I was let down my gp who prescribed anti inflammatories, that caused an anaphylaxis reaction and some physiotherapy that did not help at all. I tried the drugs as I was at my wits end and just wanted some relief. I then sort help from several private physiotherapists, chiropractor, injury specialist and even had a year of acupuncture. This has cost me thousands of pounds over the years and unfortunately did not help my problem. I may have had some very short term relief, but my pain was still there. Mr Sians understanding for individual patient requirements is amazing and I feel so lucky to have met him. His treatment for me was different to any other professional and its working a treat. Its not an overnight fix and i found it painfull for the first few weeks but a positive attitude and commitment to his advice is working for me. He has a wonderful, calm, friendly, professional, genuine and down to earth attitude. I wish I had known about him 8 years ago, hence, why I am writing this review and hopefully if you are in pain you have found this. I tell everyone I meet who has pain and try to educate them on what I've learnt and recommend Mr Sian. Thank you so much for everything.
