Mr Paul Checkley has over 15 years experience in diagnostic clinical audiology in the NHS, specialising in rehabilitative audiology and hearing protection. Mr Checkley is currently Senior Partner and Clinical Director at Harley Street Hearing, London. In addition he significantly contributed to the development of the Wellington Hospital Balance Centre and now coordinates the audiology service at the centre.
Before his clinical practice, Mr Checkley was a clinical scientist at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, involved in clinical research and development of hearing instrument technology. He continues to be active in education, lecturing at University College, London
Mr Checkley is a member of the British Academy of Audiology and has sat on the council for the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists. He is also Audiological consultant to the Musicians Union and the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine.
