Paul Wilson works within the NHS as lead surgeon for Sarcoma surgery with a special interest in reconstruction following cancer. Paul is able to offer specialist head and neck surgery with expertise in oculoplastic surgery and facial palsy. He also specialises in body contouring surgery following massive weight loss. In his private practice Mr Wilson provides a variety of cosmetic operations such as Aesthetic surgery of the breast (breast enlargement, mastopexy, breast reduction), facial cosmetic surgery (rhinoplasty, eye bag removal, endoscopic brow lift, facelift) and body contouring surgery (abdominoplasty, liposuction, body lift, brachioplasty, lipofilling/fat transfer). He also performs non-surgical treatments using the latest fillers and Botulinum Toxin. For breast implant selection he uses Mentor implants which has a low incidence of capsular contracture and ALCL.
Paul Wilson has completed degrees in both Medical and Dental Surgery from the Universities of Leicester and Liverpool. Initially, Paul trained in oral and Maxillofacial Surgery going on in 2000 to be made a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Paul went on to complete his Higher Surgical Training in the Southwest region to specialise in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In 2010 Paul was appointed Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.
Mr Wilson is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the European Head and Neck Society (EHNS) and the British Sarcoma Group (BSG).
