Mr Rahmanou graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1997, most of his postgraduate obstetrics and gynaecology training was at the Northwest London Deanery. Following this, he undertook higher specialist training in Urogynaecology at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and advanced training in laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery and laparoscopic benign gynaecological surgery.
Rahmanou also works with nurses and physiotherapists as well as other specialists is the best way to manage gynaecological issues as well as pelvic floor problems such as prolapse and incontinence.
Rahmanou's special interests include chronic pelvic pain, heavy periods (Menorrhagia), dysmenorrhoea (Period Pain), endometriosis, fibroids, Overactive Bladder, painful intercourse. He also has interest in pelvic floor dysfunction such as pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
