Mr Pierre Nasr is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in all aspects of hip and knee surgery, including hip and knee replacements.

Mr Nasr also carries out revision (redo) surgery and deals with patients having problems with their hip or knee replacements

He works at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust and BMI Three Shires Hospital in Northampton.

He was born and raised in Buckinghamshire and attended the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe. He obtained his medical qualification from Imperial College School of Medicine at St. Mary's Hospital, London in 2002.

Mr Nasr started his trainIng at the Oxford University Hospitals Teaching hospitals and had specialist training in Orthopaedics at Cambridge University Teaching Hospitals, which culminated in the distinguished appointment of Chief Resident for Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2012.

He underwent further specialist training at world-famous centres of excellence in Australia in 2013-2015.

He became proficient in complex hip and knee surgery, as well as reconstructing complex limb fractures and severe fractures of the pelvis and hip socket at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

Mr Nasr then moved to Perth, Western Australia, working at the Western Australia Sarcoma Service based at Sir Charles Gairdiner Hospital. This training was in the treatment of complex hip and knee joint replacement related to bone tumours as well as computer navigated hip and knee surgery.

Mr Nasr returned to the UK to become a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital in 2015.

He has a specialised interest in hip and knees joint replacements, revision (redo) surgery to replace hip and knee replacements that have worn out. He also specialises in treating painful hip and knee replacements and arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the knee.

Mr Nasr is also keenly interested in every fracture surgery due to his specialist trauma training in Australia.

He works as a Medical Officer for Formula 1 and at the Silverstone motor racing circuit.
