Mr Pramod Achan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working in London, with a particular interest in hip and knee surgery, joint replacements, sports injuries and arthroscopy. He qualified in 1993 from the University of London through which he chose to specialise in orthopaedic surgery. He then undertook postgraduate medical training before entering the working environment. He currently works at The Princess Grace Hospital, London and was the Clinical Director for the Barts Health NHS Trust. He balances his time between working at the practice, writing articles and directing orthopaedic training programmes. Mr Achan was selected as one of two ‘Best of British’ surgeons and had to represent the British Hip Society travelling Fellowship in the USA. he has also represented British Orthopaedics as an ABC travelling fellow and has lectured extensively including at Harvard, Stanford, Duke, Emory, McMaster to name a few. He runs the Percivall Pott training programme and is the Chairman of the Orthopaedic Service at One Welbeck Orthopaedics.
