Mr Rahij Anwar is a leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the UK, working for both BMI Healthcare and Care UK Treatment Centres.  He previously held a Consultant role at Pilgrim Hosiptal in Lincolnshire but relocated to London to focus on private practice and be closer to his family. Mr Anwar specialises in Lower Limb surgery, particularly hip and knee, and offers a variety of treatments and investigative procedures to help his clients, such as arthroscopy, joint injection, joint replacement, revision surgery and Anterior Cruciate Ligament Repair. His vast experience and expertise gained in his career of over 25 years ensures his clients are in safe hands. He is extremely passionate about patient care and experiences and improving outcomes in orthopaedics. 

He began his career with a Medical Degree before completing an extensive training scheme in orthopaedics and trauma, including an accredited fellowship in knee and hip surgery in Sydney. He has multiple published works including orthopaedic books and is a regular columnist in the British Medical Association's magazine for over 10 years. He is a professional member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the Medical Protection Society.

In his spare time, Mr Anwar enjoys travelling with his family and writing.
