Mr. Raj Kugan is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic consultant at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where he has been working since 2012. His principle interests are foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction and trauma of which he has extensive experience and training in these types of surgery. Prior to his consultant post in 2012, he undertook and completed his specialist orthopaedic training at Oxford Deanery in 2012.

Mr. Kugan completed the British and Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) recognised foot and ankle fellowship in England and also an international fellowship in Switzerland under the internationally renouned Professor Hintermann. In addition to standard Foot and Ankle operations he does Total Ankle Replacement(TAR). He has Trust approval to continue to do TAR as the only surgeon.

Mr Kugan's frame fellowship was based at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. After his extensive training he then took up his full time role as a consultant in 2012. Mr. Kugan is an experienced surgeon with numerous years of experience.
