Mr Bommireddy completed his Orthopaedic training in London Deanery and his specialist training in London, Liverpool and Nottingham where he studies spinal surgery. As a spinal surgery consultant consultant he has practiced in Derby for more than 15 years. He is particularly interested in microscopic spinal surgery and minimally invasive spinal surgery which significantly reduces the operations recovery time. He regularly collects outcome data in British Spine Registry following spinal surgery showing good results. He regularly monitors his practice through complex spine surgery meetings and mortality morbidity meetings and is the lead clinician for spinal cancer in Derby Hospitals NHS Trust. He also regularly teaches medical students and orthopaedic trainees and is actively involved in research, having over 30 publications in various reputed journals.
