Mr Rajesh Kucheria is a consultant urological surgeon sub-specialising in the management of urinary stones. He is the clinical lead for inpatient and emergency urology and was awarded the Simpson Smith travelling fellowship to India, a prize awarded to surgical trainees who could demonstrate that their visit would make a significant contribution to their surgical training.
Currently, Mr Kucheria has clinics at several hospitals, dealing with broad range of urological conditions including blood in urine, PSA, kidney stones, urinary tract infections and genital problems including patients requesting vasectomy.
Owing to his extensive medical experience, Mr Kucheria’s medical expertise covers all aspects of urology and champions rapid diagnostics, stone treatment, management of recurrent UTI as well as urinating problems.
In order to maintain and improve his knowledge, Mr Kucheria frequently attends specialised courses and conferences and teaches on international courses.
On a more personal level, Mr Kucheria is interested in contemporary and modern classical music and furthermore a keen player of badminton and five-a-side football.
