Mr Richard Baker is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in Berkshire, UK. Following his graduation from Cambridge University he undertook his training at the General Surgical and Orthopeaedix and Trauma Unit in Tamil Nadi, South India. It was his time spent assisting with hand trauma and clef lip and palate surgery whist training which probed his interest into Plastic Surgery. Upon his return to the UK in 2003 he began specialist plastic surgery training at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Complementary to his specialist training he completed a research degree in scarring of the skin at Mount Vernon Hospital for which he won several academic awards. Richard continued his training and gained experience in some of the most prestigious hospitals including; the Queen Victoria, East Grinstead, the Royal Free and Broomfield.
He has a specialist interest in hand, wrist and hypospadias.
In his personal time he enjoys keeping fit by walking his dogs with his wife and children, reading and amateur artwork.
