Mr Richard Sheridan is a Consultant Gynaecologist from London, UK.
Mr Sheridan qualified from Guy's Hospital Medical School in 1979. He then went on to train in Southampton, at Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital and then as a registrar and senior registrar at Guy's and at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. In 2015 Mr Sheridan left Watford General Hospital after spending 24 years there as a Consultant and is an examiner for the final membership examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Mr Sheridan has a busy private menopause and gynaecological practice. His private office and secretary are based at Spire Bushey Hospital, where gynaecological in-patients are admitted and gynaecological outpatient appointments and early pregnancy scanning take place. He also has a menopause & gynae clinic at Centennial Medical Care in Elstree in Hertfordshire which is approved and registered by the Care Quality Commission.
He is a general gynaecologist, doubly qualified, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of London. He performs open abdominal surgery, vaginal surgery and keyhole surgery for heavy periods, fibroids, cysts, prolapse and incontinence. He has a large hormone replacement therapy practice and has interests in premenstrual syndrome as well as the menopause.
