Mr Richard Slack completed his undergraduate studies in medicine in 1994. He then undertook his speciality training in Orthopaedic Surgery in the United Kingdom and France. Following this, he was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in Orthopaedics and Trauma surgery in East Kent University Hospital Trust.
Richard's specialist interest lies in revision (complex) hip replacement surgery and he is performing a very large number of such procedures yearly. His other interests include lower limb joint arthropalsty, biological fixation of implants and hip resurfacing. He also offers a variety of techniques which allow rapid rehabilitation of patients undergoing primary hip replacement surgery.
Richard lives in Kent with his wife and two children and enjoys playing sports during his spare time.
