Mr Rees is the clinical lead for musculoskeletal oncology (bone and soft tissue cancer). He is a fellowship trained (Brisbane, Australia) foot and ankle surgeon, dealing with all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He is also the lead clinician for oncology problems related to bone and joint which allows an efficient and prompt service for the patient and the referring general practitioner.
Mr Rees qualified at Birmingham University Medical School in 1993. He has practised as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma surgeon at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust since 1995.
His key clinical interests include arthroscopy, keyhole surgery for the ankle, day-case for the forefoot and techniques for foot deformity correction, together with joint replacement for the ankle.
