Mr Roger Walker is currently a consultant Urologist at Ramsay Ashtead Hospital in Ashtead, Surrey and also Spire St Anthony's in South West London. He was inducted as a urology Fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1999, and as a Fellow of the European Board of Urology in 2001.
The doctor is a member of several professional societies and organizations, including the urology section of the Royal Society of Medicine, the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS), and the International Continence Society (ICS). He also has served as Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Female, Neuro-urology and Urodynamicssection of the BAUS. He has also published numerous articles in the areas of urinary incontinence, urodynamics, and research into the areas of bladder function and introducing techniques that have been widely-circulated within the urological community.
Mr Walker is skilled in a number of medical procedures in the urology field, encompassing everything from bladder and prostate disorders, pelvic floor repair and continence restoration operations to managing the various urological cancer operations . He works closely in his practice with physiotherapists and continence advisors, specifically in the area of pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence, in order to maximize the positive outcomes for his patients.
